I recommend the KJ method, especially if arriving at a consensus is one of the goals of the meeting, as opposed to simply getting a lot of ideas out in the open. I first learned the technique from UIE, and I've used it successfully many times in the past ten years. A big part of what makes it so great is that no (or not much) talking is involved, eliminating many of the problems that typically arise in brainstorming sessions.
