One of the things you said seemed to indicate that you felt we should *just*
be doing hi-fi prototyping. It seems I've misunderstood

Actually, I was talking about there being situations not using *lo-fi*
prototypes makes sense. For example, the users of one system I've worked on
aren't very Web savvy to begin with and are resistant to change on top of
that. Presenting wireframe-looking prototypes of new functionality to this
audience would just confuse them and give us bad data. So what I do is work
with the client to make a higher fidelity prototype... matching fonts,
graphics colors, etc. We get much better information from testing in that
situation.
