It isn't really a point to be disagreed on. It isn't an opinion. I 
have often had the experience of getting less feedback...and 
certainly less useful feedback on a more nearly finished prototype. 
I've had reports from other members of teams about test participants 
talking on their way out and saying "Well, I think X could have been 
better, but they did it this way instead" (Obviously, paraphrased)

And that's why the point comes up.
