== About The Position ==

The Senior User Interface Designer develops prototypes and detailed  
functional specifications for Perforce SCM GUI products based on  
requirements developed by technical staff. This is a position for  
application user interface designers, and most emphatically *not* for Web  
designers.

* *Specifically, the Senior Interface Designer will:

    * As a member of a development team, help define the personae and
      task flows required to develop our SCM client applications
    * Create, review, and revise high-quality prototypes and functional
      specifications according to platform standards and engineering
      requirements
    * Participate in user research and usability testing

The requirements are:

    * BA/BS degree ideally in software engineering or computer-human
      interactions
    * 5+ years of experience in a software development organization,
      preferably developing commercial applications for technical end users.
    * Familiarity with software development environments and
      life-cycles. Experience with SCM and software development is a
      definite advantage.
    * Knowledge and hands-on experience with C, C++
    * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in
      writing.
    * Excellent presentation skills
