[IxDA Discuss] FW: Filtering mechanisms?

That's a pretty neat set of filters, and the only thing that's awkward is that the price-range slider really needs to be (roughly) logarithmic instead of linear because most of the products are really grouped within a tiny span of the control. One wants as much discrimination in selecting for products between 50-75 dollars as between 300-400 dollars. Otherwise that's one nifty way to manage a filter. Actually, as I experiment with it, I see that there really aren't enough products returned to justify fine-tuning it, but if there were thousands and thousands then the granularity ought to be refined. Nice and intuitive, though, if one isn't too picky.

Take a look at www.Endless.com
Clicking on one of the categories on top (Women's, Men's, Kid's, etc) Will take you to a page that allows for filtering based upon different factors on the left(Brand, Color, Size, Price, etc.) ________________________________________________________________
