You also might want to look at Canvas from ACD Systems. Canvas is
geared towards technical illustrations and is sort of a combination of
subsets of Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop in one seamless,
integrated package. Canvas does have its quirks, but I think that it's
very nearly ideally suited to doing interaction design specifications
(of multiple pages) with wireframes or near photo realistic mockups.
Canvas is available for both Mac and Windows platforms.
Of course, if things work out, you'll be using Canvas extensively. ;-)
