Healthwise, a global developer of consumer health information is
recruiting a Senior Visual Designer.  The Senior Visual Designer is
responsible for providing leadership and definition of a consistent
visual product design for flagship Healthwise electronic products. The
designer also consults with other Healthwise product teams to develop
and apply visual design standards to ensure consistent & integrated look
and feel across the Healthwise Ix Solution suite of products.  In
addition, the Senior Visual Designer directly develops interactive
features for Healthwise products using interactive technologies such as
Flash, Director and other web programming languages. The designer will
work collaboratively as part of a cross-disciplinary team, developing
these new features to meet cross-team specifications, with the goal of
creating health information products and content that help people make
better health decisions. 

*	Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Fine
Arts
*	Minimum 5-7 years of progressive visual design experience
*	Demonstrated visual design skills for consumer audience. 
*	An interactive product and design portfolio showing strong
creative and interactive skills.
*	Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and a
desire to contribute to the constant development of new products. 
*	Proficiency with Flash, Director and other web programming
languages, including, but not limited to, dynamic HTML, CSS and Flash
ActionScript.  
*	Proficiency with rapid interaction design and interactive
prototyping.
*	Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate, scope and
prioritize development work.
*	Demonstrated ability to work flexibly in a fluid team
environment.
*	Ability to track and manage multiple projects.
*	Willingness and ability to supervise and mentor junior team
members in future.
*	Familiarity with leveraging computer animation and illustration
as a component of design.
*	Good written and verbal communication skills.
