[IxDA Discuss] Visual design internships out there?

Hi folks -- actually, I'd been meaning to send a similar email  
myself.  I'm a first-year grad student at NYU ITP and looking for a  
summer internship in interaction design and/or research -- does  
anyone have any suggestions?  I'm rather new to the field, and while  
I've applied to the usuals (Intel, Yahoo!, Google, Ideo, etc), I'm  
sure there's some much better ideas I don't know about.  I'm based in  
NYC, so I'd probably have to keep it commutable to the area, but if  
something amazing came up I might be able to move for part of the  
summer.  I'd appreciate any and all thoughts on the subject!
