Portland-based Revelation (www.revelationglobal.com) is looking for a
gifted interaction designer with excellent front-end development
skills to join our agile development team.

We are looking for a person with the right blend of design
sensibility, experience and front-end development chops (CSS,
javascript, html, Flash) to assume leadership of Revelation’s
interaction design. This position will own the front-end design of
the application, as well be instrumental in the ongoing development
of our design process and culture.

Revelation is a next generation web-based research system that
enables researchers to immerse themselves in customer experiences
wherever and whenever they happen. Our higher mission is to make
human experiences easier to access, understand and apply.

Beyond the usual interaction design territory of information
architecture and navigation, we have a number of very cool design
challenges that we are playing with. If things like complex data
visualization turn you on, we want to talk to you.

Day to day responsibilities will run the gamut - ideation sessions,
brainstorming, storyboarding, rapid prototyping, coding and testing.
Longer-term responsibilities will include building out a design
vocabulary that will be implemented across a suite of multicultural
applications.

You will be working in an agile development environment without red
tape or bureaucracy. We move quickly to implement design and
development changes, and you will be able to have an immediate impact.

This is a ground level position in an entrepreneurial organization
and could be an ideal opportunity for an experienced designer who is
ready to make the jump to a design/product leadership position. The
position is full time and based in Portland, Oregon.

If you are interested please send your cover letter, resume and links
to examples of your work to me off list.

Thanks!

Steve
