Hi Tom and list,
I know this is really belated, but I wanted to pipe up on the Persona One
Sheeter.
First of all, I think it's great! I particularly like the way you've worked
in the inputs and outputs. It makes the one sheeter feel like it's part of a
bigger system (something it was missing before). You also did a great job
condensing a lot of the nuance of personas into a few short paragraphs. Well
done!
The only part where I found myself wishing for more detail was step 4 in the
How It Works part -- i.e., how do you actually write a persona? The really
good personas I've seen have a little extra life in them that makes them
feel like more than just a composite of a name and some goals. I guess I'm
thinking about stuff that clues you into what delights them, what will keep
them coming back, what truly motivates them, what frustrates them, blah blah
blah. I know that's a lot to squeeze into a little bit of space, and I'm not
even quite sure what you'd write, but I thought I'd bring it up since it's
something I struggle with myself and would love a good one sheeter to
instruct me on!
In any case, would you mind if I added your one sheeter to
www.iaonesheeters.com? With or without my comments, I think it's a great
one sheeter.
Thanks & kind regards,
Leah
