I think I might get shunned from the community for this one, but if you
want to go really low-tech you can actually just use a series of radio
button groups. If you have all your selectable items as rows in a table,
you can have each radio group take up a single column. Label each column
"Choice One", "Choice Two", and so on. It's accessible, usable, simple,
and cheap!
