Responsibilities
Partner with feature and UX teams to develop and implement 
user-centered design and research methodologies throughout development cycle Use a variety of methodologies: (qualitative and quantitative), throughout the development lifecycle, including: usability lab studies, site visits, rapid/iterative testing, heuristic evaluations, focus groups, surveys, personas, scenarios and other methodologies.
Manage and develop international customer research projects Be a strong and vocal user advocate Understand and communicate key user experience considerations across teams Manage research projects with in-house teams and external vendors Work effectively in cross-functional projects that may span across divisions
 
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of professional experience designing and conducting usability studies (both field work and iterative lab studies), analyzing data and working successfully with project teams to drive results into design and development throughout the project lifecycle.
Masters or PhD degree in Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, 
Technical Communication, Human Computer Interaction, or related field 
Experience working with multi-disciplinary Design and Development teams 
Good understanding of web design process and concurrent engineering principles Strong project management and coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple projects 
Strong communication skills - write, speak, and present information 
effectively and persuasively across communication settings Ecommerce or web usability experience a plus International customer research experience a plus International travel required
