Non-literacy is one emerging topic in some countries like India, China,
Nigeria, Africa etc.
I am working on designing mobile phones for non-literate poeple for "Nokia".
I am doing some user studies related to
- their interaction of mobile phones
- phone sharing
- problems in interaction
- possible solutions
Though there is motorolla "motofone" specially designed for illiterate and
semi literate people.
Cheers,
Keyur.
