Nice find. I personally like it. It made reading through the entries
a lot easier. My eyes didn't have to scan simultaneously with the
scroll which left me feeling less strained.
I think what also adds to the ease-factor is that the ads in the side
bars line up horizontally. Newspapers and grid layouts help balance
the page vertically, but this helps keep horizontal lines clean which
also reduces adjust and strain; that is, my eyes going up and down to
account for broken horizontal lines.
