Fave book of 2005: Digital Ground by Malcolm McCullough
Fave book of 2006: Designing Interfaces by Jennifer Tidwell
Digital Ground is just an amazing book that better than any other book
before or since articulates what IxD is and does. It is so cool that
an architect and not an IxDer did this book.
Designing Interfaces takes the work that Jennifer has been doing with
patterns and brings it into print. I can't believe O'Reilly let her
pull this off. it is so well presented. It is a great book to read and
then a reference as powerful as the Definitive JavaScript book.
Books most looking forward to this year:
Thoughts on Interaction Design by Jon Kolko
Sketching User Experience by Bill Buxton
This latter one I've been privy to a preview copy and let's just say
it is going to be great when complete.
