JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
The IIT Sr. Web Content Management Specialist is responsible for the
ongoing improvement of content and architecture of the IIT intranet
site, and providing key inputs into strategic direction. The incumbent
will partner closely with customers, IIT, Corporate Communications, and
other key stakeholders to ensure that the site is continually improving,
addressing customer & IIT needs for process, content, and communication.
Key goals include improved customer experience, increased site usage by
IIT, and ultimate elimination of ticket volume across all service lines.
Critical functions include:

Manage site inputs / information:
- Partner across IIT, evangelizing the use of the website as a key
communication vehicle for a consistent IIT customer experience
- Drive critical IIT content to the site, including news, performance,
change control, and other key information as identified

Customer Experience
- Continuous evaluation of content and information architecture of site,
based on comparison of available knowledge, and customers' needs
- Effective identification and prioritization of key levers to improve
customer content and, ultimately, the customer experience

Publishing: 
- Develop a strong and cohesive IIT content community to create, manage,
and update IIT content on a consistent, timely basis
- Maintain the integrity of site, ensuring a consistent customer
experience across all content, by providing accurate, relevant data
- Assist subject matter experts in writing self-content suitable for
publication, ensuring quality and integrity 

Web analytics:
- Development and maintenance of dashboards relevant to site usage,
effectiveness, efficiency, and customer experience
- Analysis, prioritization and implementation of targeted improvements
to improve the customer experience and reduce ticket volume
 
Qualifications :       - 2-4 years of professional information
management experience
- 3-5 years of experience managing website content with experience using
the intranet as a self-service/communications tool
- Technical proficiency in web content management & analysis, using web
publishing, content and analytic tools, to include Contribute,
Dreamweaver, and ClickTracks
- Outstanding writing skills, including organization and ease of use
- Strong understanding of Intuit's employee base, and associated
diversity of needs
- Outstanding analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to
continuously assess and improve processes
- Ability to evaluate and understand as-is process performance, and make
recommendations to drive short and long-term improvement
- Strong communicator and facilitator, able to communicate at all levels
and with all audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work across BU and FG, to drive improvement in
a heavily matrixed environment
- Change agent, able to influence process and technology changes
- Bachelors in Library and Information Management or Communication
- Technical writing skills preferred
