The *Society and Information Technologies Encounter* gathers, since 2000,
businessmen, the Government, universities and citizenship to dialogue about
the advantages and challenges that Information Technologies represent for
our society.

Under the name *"In Search of the Lost Customer"*, this year's event will be
dedicated to *User Experience Design for the web and blogs*, as a means of
acknowledging these tools as key factors for establishing solid
communication between companies and organizations and the audiences these
address thorough these digital media.
