The Internet has evolved, lots of information from many different websites
and broadband have changed how we deal with bookmarks. It is common for some
netizens to have 1000+ bookmarks. However it still uses the old (but widely
tested) "folder-file" metaphor. Websites are information, so this aproach
isn't that far off. Meta-data and automatic scripts can be used to clean and
manage this lists of websites.

Why not make a brainstorming about how to improve Bookmarks Managment?

- Embedding common attributes in "names" have being done before. In Unix a '
. ' is used at the beginning of a filename to treat it as "hidden". I have
used an ' * ' for months at the end of websites names (mostly articles or
news), and this means that it's "readed" and "saved".

- The "toolbar" folder is my "main network". ie: e-mail, forums, news, my
website, etc. It's always less than 10 websites.

- hierarchical folders are very important. Most main folders have "swap"
(for temporal websites), "otros" (others, random, unclassified) and
"archivo" (saved, readed, etc) secondary folders.
