Hi folks,

On June 8 in Durham, North Carolina, we're running a full-day
workshop for people who are considering whether to introduce personas
into their design practice. Given the lively debate that personas
sometimes spark on this list, I figured some of you might be interested.

The workshop gives you hands-on experience in key steps of the
process, even in that most mysterious of steps: how to identify
personas from a mess of research findings. We'll share plenty of
examples from our client work over the past 6 years, too, to
illustrate the impact that personas can have on a product's
requirements and on its design direction.

And there's a bonus. Woo-hoo! You'll receive a free copy of Pruitt
and Adlin's book "The Persona Lifecycle", in celebration of its
recent publication. We made several contributions to this book, so
we're of course excited to see it available.
