I am looking for a strong Design Manager or Design Director for a growing company in NYC. 
   
  This young organization with a half dozen years behind them is positioned for major growth.    They have a strong and mature approach and are considered in the top 10 of their niche area.  They have a good team and a reputation for hiring the best, brightest out of the box thinkers.

  We are looking for a Group Manager with:
    
   Strong experience in User Experience/Interaction Design        
   BS Degree in human factors, behavioral sciences or equivalent   
   Experience as a Director/Manager within software development process   
   Excellent communication, facilitation, multi discipline department skills   
   Background and Champion in Goal Directed Design methodology        
   Experience working with Development and Quality Assurance teams   
   Background hiring, managing design resources and planning projects   
   Abreast of best practices in usability and interaction design
