Position Summary:
   AirPlay, a pioneer in the creation of mobile interactive applications synchronized with live televised events is seeking a HTML Engineer to join its product team. AirPlay is a growing technology start-up backed by Redpoint Ventures and Qualcomm. Airplay is looking for a hardworking web developer with great web production skills and a strong sense of clean design. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to create web content independently, but also take direction in a team-based environment. This position requires a utility player with strong HTML abilities, design skills, technical savvy, great attention to detail, and proven expertise in web development. 
     
      Responsibilities:
   •Developing and day-to-day maintenance of web content. 
• Designing and quickly implementing clear, effective web pages. 
• Creating and optimizing web images for download efficiency and clean design. 
• Working with Product Marketing and UI/Creative teams on page design. 
• Responding to a variety of web-related requests across departments. 
• Fulfilling several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
     
     Requirements:
   • Experience implementing and maintaining web content. 
• Expert HTML,CSS and scripting skills. 
• Knowledge of DHTML, AJAX, Flash, JavaScript, Tag Library (e.g. JSP, Tapestry), XHTML and web standards/tableless layouts. 
• Experience in a UNIX environment. 
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. 
• Excellent attention to detail. 
• Keen eye for clean UI implementation and knowledge of website design best practices. 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
• Experience developing (or interest in) gaming and/or community oriented websites a big plus. 
• 2-3+ years of professional experience. 
• Education: BA/BS or equivalent.
