Conference Center, 281 Park Avenue South (at 22nd Street).

NYC-UPA is thrilled to have David Lipkin of Method, Inc., as this year's
final speaker. Come learn a lot and do some extra networking before summer!

Many businesses, according to David Lipkin, now conduct their entire
customer relationships through an interface. This is a paradigm shift that
makes user experience a key differentiator for branding new products, giving
designers of all sorts the opportunity to be strategic in the profitability
of the companies they work with.

David will display and discuss groundbreaking interfaces and products that
have been enabled over the last few years such as mobile devices, the web,
gaming platforms, and more. His presentation will also provide a backward
glance at classic interfaces--such as Mosaic .96, early cell phones, and the
Lisa--that presaged today's world of strategic design.

David Lipkin is the founder and COO of Method, a company that is “passionate
about design.” See http://www.method.com for more information about their
approach, services and impressive customer list.

Prior to founding Method, David was Director of Technology at MetaDesign.
While there, he played a key role in transforming the company from a
print-based design studio to one that created multimedia, internet-based and
application-based products.

David has a BA from Reed College where he studied history, chemistry,
biology and physics.

Attendees who stay for dinner are invited to ask David about the time he met
Steve Jobs.
