Hi Leo,

I've been at the engineering world.
I think the long term mission (if you choose to take it) is to evangelize
design for design's sake.
I'm sure using data will be a HUGE part of that evangelism.
I also think bringing people into your process outside of the #'s gathering
will go a long way towards that evangelism and towards the end of design by
committee. I think that long term, constantly having to fall back on data is
a double-edged sword for designers. *Sometimes* the right design goes
against the data. Leaps of faith is what makes design really exciting and
break to the next level.
