[IxDA Discuss] job: Senior IxD - FTE - Intuit (Mountain View, CA)

Come on, Mark, where's your holiday spirit?

Seriously, though: yes, Intuit is looking to hire a half dozen or so
Interaction/UID's (as are many other software companies here in the bay
area, which can be validated by browsing the BayCHI job bank weekly
distribution). Two of the openings are replacing internal transfers
(promotions), the remainder are brand new openings to support new
product initiatives (cross sell, mobile, etc).

I must say, I sometimes get ribbed for periodically posting my openings,
but I'd like to point out that Intuit has been steady and consistently
growing since our inception. Indeed, we were hiring back in 2001, 2002
and 2003 when many (most) other companies weren't and when a lot of
people were really scrambling for work.
The fact that 80% of our revenue stream is recurring (stable and
reliable) provides the luxury of growing our employee base, as well as
having a ton of cash in the bank.

This is an open, frank email list which I really appreciate. I'm happy
to clarify anything at any time for folks who have questions around our
hiring at Intuit.

With warm regards,

~nancy~

Seriously? Is this the same position or are they hiring dozens of
senior UI's? This seems like a weekly event for Intuit.
