great feedback!!

in keeping with this thread...what do you all think about showing the
'contact sheet' view prior to getting to the 'full photo/slide show'
view of a photo gallery?

for example...

on a site you see a gallery titled: 'vacation photos'.
you click on the promo and arrive at the 'contact sheet' view. (thumbs)
you then must click on a thumbnail to arrive at the 'full photo/slide
show' view which also allows you to scroll thru the gallery.

is the 'contact sheet; view unnecessary? should the user go straight
to the 'full photo/slide show' view?
