I also have this problem and still do not understand the answer is
input "on" then? As in we are inputting electricity? Or is output "on"
as in we are responding to your request?

As for play/pause toggle buttons: they still confuse me. I am
constantly misunderstanding the meaning of the play/pause toggle. On
the other hand, the space bar I get. It makes sense: it doesn't show
me any icons, I tap it once for pause and again for play. Why does the
button continue to confuse me? Hopefully your study will enlighten
me...

And can I just say, thank god this email is not about Israel and Lebanon.
