Peter,
I'm open minded to the possibility that a novel paradigm might have
wonderful potential in the right application, but some feedback, below.

Although I can imagine the concept of a site being a give-and-take
conversation with a visitor, I have never encountered one and could barely
envision its implementation enough to consider responding. In other words, I
would need several more details to provide a substantive reply. John
Grøtting's reply was excellent and about all one might have expected, for
the given question. As a friend of mine says, "What do you want for a
nickel, lobster?" If others felt similarly, this would explain the meager
response.

>Did <a particular website> flash through your mind? Have you tried it and
>failed?

I never heard of the particular website, so it didn't flash anywhere. I
subesquently looked at the particular website. It had the following
gratuitous, visitor-hostile, and illogical wording on it:

"<This site> is back and a new site will be launched in 2006. To receive
further information and updates regarding this site, please Enter your name
and email address below."

Since it added no genuine promise of any ensuing value, I didn't entertain
its offer to "receive further information." Did I miss a great opportunity?
