[IxDA Discuss] Interaction design is design of time

Hi, just been scanning this thread and I was taught on my interactive
system design course that it is about time and space, although I can't
remember Einstein coming up in the lessons. The terminology used that has
stuck with for over ten years is time and space multiplexing. To my mind the
idea that all interaction design uses a combination of time and space still
very much rings true. For example of extremes an automated phone system uses
time and a book uses space. Most web design uses space multiplexing mostly -
with the time element coming into play with the concept of flipping between
pages.
Anyway, that's my tuppence.
Cheers
