Bill's book is great - I try to read a little every day - it's a tomb! Alot
of good discussions in there about IxD.

Also check out the debate/conversation:
"DesignVision: A conversation about the role of design-driven leadership in
the product development
process<www.lukew.com/resources/articles/DesignVision.pdf>"
which is a thoughtful discussion between LukeW, Bob Baxley, Jim Leftwich and
Dirk Knemeyer... It's a fun read. Along those same lines - check out Bob
Baxley's article in Boxes&Arrows Introducing Interaction Design
<http://www.boxesandarrows.com/view/introducing_interaction_design>

Some ideas off the top of my head - some have been done, some are
contentious, some could use more research...

1. Ethical Issues for Interaction Designers
2. Myths of the perfect interface metaphor
3. Why Agile wants to kill User Centered Design
4. AJAX Web 2.0 Goodness - Just because you "can" do something (using
scriptalicous etc) - doesn't mean it's good interaction design
5. Designing for Privacy: Why Interaction Designers Should Think Before
Creating Yet Another Social Networking App.

At least those things are interesting to me if I had alot more free time to
research them.
