Yeah, this drives me nuts too. I'm not sure why they're doing it, other 
than to try and "customize" the experience. But these custom widgets 
can confuse people - which ones allow for multiple selection? Which 
ones don't?

Hell, even I can't figure it out some times and I'd like to think that 
I'm kinda smart ;).
